Music Instrument Lessons at Coopers Lane: At Coopers Lane our love of music begins as soon as we join the school. Our Nursery and Reception classes all have a range of musical instruments where we start to learn about rhythm, pitch and volume. Learning through play, we use our imagination and creativity to express ourselves and how we are feeling. As we progress through the school, we continue learning the language of music, understanding that every culture makes music which speaks to us in different ways. During our time here, we are given the chance to learn how to play recorders, ukuleles and steel pans with specialist teachers and we have a wonderful school choir who regularly perform in the Lewisham Live Voices concert at the Catford Broadway Theatre.

Coopers Lane also offer private tuition for the following instruments:

Drums

Piano

Violin

MUSIC CLUBS ARE CURRENTLY ALL FULL AT THE MOMENT BUT A WAITING LIST IS AVAILABLE AT THE SCHOOL OFFICE.

Please note that once your child starts instrumental lesson they will continue automatically unless you give a terms notice to terminate the lessons, they do not need to be renewed like other clubs.

Music lessons are largely taken during the school day and are not an after school club
