We Scare Hunger

As part of our work as a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, this year we will be supporting the ‘WE Scare Hunger’ campaign. We would like the children to dress up on Monday 31st October in exchange for bringing in a donation for the foodbank. The theme is ‘scaring away hunger’, so be creative! More information can be found in the letter below (sent out before half term).

WE Scare Hunger is a food collection to help foodbanks stock up on everything they need to fight hunger—the worst supervillain ever. Stand up and make sure the good guys win—every day.

Hunger makes life harder for thousands of families across the UK. For a hungry child, one meal can mean the difference between having the energy to succeed in school and failing a test, between staying healthy and getting ill.
