Comic Relief 2021
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Comic Relief collection today helping us to raise (so far) an incredible
£701.26
The money raised will help Comic Relief to support organisations all over the UK and around the world.
This really demonstrates how important our school values are to the whole Coopers Lane community. Taking Responsibility for making a positive change in the world, showing Kindness towards others, and giving Love to those who need it most.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s pupils from Coopers Lane Primary School channelling their
inner superhero for Red Nose Day!
Red Nose Day is back on Friday 19 March and this year it aims to bring the UK together (although we may be apart) to show just how powerful humour can be
through the toughest of times.
REMINDER: At Coopers Lane, will be joining in by dressing up and donating our spare change. If they want to, on Friday 19th March, children can come to school dressed up as their favourite superhero, dressed in red or just wearing a Red Nose/Red Nose Day clothing! We will have collection buckets out at drop-off and collection for any spare change that you might have.
From Wonder Woman to Superman, the day of dress up will put the power to change the world in pupils’ hands as they take part in some superhero-inspired activities to raise money for Red Nose Day. By channelling their inner superhero, pupils will be able to unleash their superpowers to support people living incredibly tough lives across the UK and around the world. The money raised by Red Nose Day will support people in the UK around the world, and help tackle homelessness, abuse and mental health stigma.
We look forward to sharing this event together and showing the ‘power of funny’.
