Computing and E-Safety
At Coopers Lane, we take e-safety very seriously. We celebrate Safer Internet Day each year help us understand how to stay safe when using the internet.
We also regularly incorporate e-safety work into our curriculum, to ensure that you have a clear understanding of how to use the Internet safely and appropriately.
Click on the links below to read our Computing rules and E-Safety Agreements. Following these guidelines will help to keep you safe when using technology. All children must sign an e-safety agreement to enable them to use computing facilities in school.
In July 2017 we dedicated a week to e-safety and took part in lots of exciting workshops and activities in class. Year 2 really enjoyed their Perform e-safety workshop.
At Coopers Lane, we also have a dedicated team of Digital Leaders. They are here to help other children stay safe online. Their top tips for staying safe online are:
* always report something that you’re worried about to a trusted adult.
* always keep your personal information safe (name, address, school, phone number).
* only use websites and games that you are old enough to access.
